Barna Pál Zsigmond, the Fidesz candidate in the Budapest suburb of Újpest, fears that a Muslim takeover of Hungarian cities is on the horizon and asserted that the only way to stop it is to vote for Hungary’s ruling far-right party on 8th April. Speaking in a brief campaign video filmed in front of a church, and accompanied by somber background music, Mr. Zsigmond explains:
“What is at stake in this election is whether we can remain who we were and who we still are, or if we Hungarians will allow foreign forces to change our cities and our lives. I do not want mosques to replace our churches in Újpest. I want to continue to buy pork at the Újpest market and I want to make sure that my youngest boy comes home safely from school. This is what I will represent in parliament. I ask for your support on 8th April.”

Also this weekend, Zoltán Balog–Minister of Human Resources–issued a warning to Hungary’s large Roma minority. Speaking to Hungarian reporters affiliated with state television during a visit to Heidelberg, Germany, Mr. Balog warned that government funds earmarked to help integrate the Roma may have to be spent on immigrants instead, if migrants are allowed into to Central and Eastern Europe. Mr. Balog was in the German city to visit an exhibit on Roma freedom fighters of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution organized by Romani Rose, leader of the Central Council of German Sinti and Roma.
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán also used the weekend to speak about what he believed were the existential risks associated with being more accepting of migrants and immigrants. “Hungary’s future faces a direct danger: they want to turn us into a country of immigrants. Brussels’ plans are becoming clearer. According to their most recent proposal, we would have to accept at least ten thousand migrants. The Soros Empire wants to turn all of Europe into a continent of immigrants and it attacks everyone that stands in its way. And this includes not only Hungary, but the Czech Republic and Slovakia too,” claimed Prime Minister Orbán. In fact, Hungary’s pro-Fidesz media has gone further, publishing insinuations that the Soros Empire was trying to topple the government of Robert Fico in Slovakia.

Unfortunately for dear Zsigmond, Ujpest is a solidly left-wing area of Budapest.

If voters would trully be more interested about that, then certainly it would be an opening for the opposition to naturally shift the debate towards those issues. Fact is that for the past few years this has been a subject of interest to most Europeans, the only difference being that after three generations of intense leftist ideological brainwashing, West Europeans are less able to comprehend & adapt. Although, it seems the realities of the past few years are starting to help wear off the intense generational indoctrination. We are clearly in the middle of a demographic event, which could see dozens of distinct native European cultures wiped out, unless the right policies will be in place. The population of ME-Africa is currently about 2 billion and is on course to double every 35 years. Europe’s native population on the other hand is in a period of culturally-induced demographic decline. Open borders will mean ethno-cultural suicide. It is a matter of basic math!

Some of those commenting seem to forget a critical fact: no western European country accepted immigrants out of some sort of liberal or left-wing principled conviction. Anyone who believes this is naive. Countries like Germany have accepted and continue to accept immigrants for economic reasons and out of economic necessity, plain and simple. Stop looking for a vast left-wing conspiracy here. If anything, it is the corporate world and corporate interests that need a supply of labour and politicians are keenly aware of this reality.

There is a huge difference here! There was never a threat of Hungarians taking over any of the countries you mentioned. With the migration event going on right now, we are talking of a region that contains about 2 billion people, with a population doubling rate of 35 years or so, with potentially hundreds of millions of them willing to colonize Europe in coming decades, due in large part to the fact that they already outstripped their natural & economic resources. There are already major cities in Europe where Europeans are no longer in the majority, only a few decades into this trend.
Hungarians migrating was an event more akin to the Sioux taking in some Cree. The current migration event is more akin to the European colonization of North America, from their own continent that back then was also demographically overflowing. Different kind of event, with a different outcome, to say the least! And let us not forget that the European colonists migrated for pretty much the same reasons. It was to escape persecution, starvation, or simply looking for opportunities. Let us also not forget that early on, many native Americans also saw the economic benefits. They often traded furs for superior weapons & tools, making their own endeavors far more productive.

Reading this HFP and KMH comments ,after a while convinced that a massive Muslim immigration to Hungary sure would be a cultural up-lift.

This is typical of the sweeping statements we see coming from across the Atlantic when dealing with EU immigration issues. At first, I thought it was that these professor types, find it difficult to deal with the tougher issues, particularly around Islamic immigration. Now it’s apparent, that it is rooted in the cultural Marxism that guides much of what the Left does.

As in the UK, France, Germany, Sweden, across the board 80% plus Muslim immigrants do not work, with the exception of a few countries which have placed financial and other restrictions on the fetching marriage practise [UK, Denmark], they are still free to immigrate or bring their spouse and raise their families entirely on state welfare, in most places.
