Eighty-seven year-old Nobel Peace Prize laureate Elie Wiesel died peacefully after a long illness on July 2, 2016 in New York City. “My husband was a fighter. He fought for the memory of the 6 million Jews who perished in the Holocaust,” his widow, Marion said in a statement.
US President Barack Obama wrote “Elie Wiesel was one of the great moral voices of our time, and in many ways, the conscience of the world.” Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tweeted, “Elie Wiesel spent his life in service to humanity, keeping the memory of the Holocaust’s horror alive. It is for us all to carry this torch.” German President Joachim Gauck and French President Francois Hollande praised Wiesel’s legacy. Romanian President Klaus Iohannis called him a “moral compass.”
The Orbán government was mum. Not one word from the government media either. I was not surprised.
Wiesel was one of the first international figures to sharply criticize the Orbán government’s anti-Semitic tendencies, its practice of praising Hungarian fascists and distortion of World War II history. In 2012 Wiesel returned his Hungarian State award (received in 2004) in protest against what he said was a “whitewashing” of the role of the pro-Hitler Horthy regime in the deportation of Jews during World War II.
Wiesel also refused to identify himself as a Hungarian Jew despite the fact that he grew up in Hungarian Jewish culture. He was born in 1928 in Romania, in Sighetu Marmației (Máramarossziget in Hungarian). This town was part of Hungary before being incorporated into the Kingdom of Romania after World War I. Wiesel’s mother tongue was Yiddish but he also spoke Hungarian like most of the Jews of Northern-Transylvania. He also learned the Romanian language.
In 1940 Hungary annexed the area and persecution of Jews started immediately. As a child Wiesel witnessed the brutal implementation of the Jewish Laws by Hungarian authorities and in 1944 Hungarian gendarmeries pushed him into a rail car heading to Auschwitz. He survived.
In 2012 Wiesel wrote an angry letter to László Kövér, Hungarian House Speaker for openly praising World War II Hungarian fascists. Mr. Kövér idolizes anti-Semites like Mr. Géza Nyirő and Mr. Albert Wass. He even installed a plaque in the Parliament of János Esterházy a World War II politician of Slovakia. The Bratislava Jewish Community protested and Slovak President Ivan Gasparovic called Esterházy a fascist who died in prison as a convicted World War II criminal. (Mr. Wiesel’s letter to Mr. Kövér.)

Mr. Kövér (right) installed a plaque of convicted WWII criminal János Esterházy in the Hungarian Parliament building in 2013.
Elie Wiesel warned the world about Orbán Viktor’s dangerous populism and the revival of the cult of Miklós Horthy, Hungary’s pro-Hitler regent during World War II. Orbán and his friends never forgave this and shamefully ignored his death. No letter of condolence arrived from Budapest.
Another sign that the Orbán Government is hopelessly isolated and continuing to lead the country into a dead-end.

No surprise from these animals…
To be fair and true to events in history I have to add: Hungarian Jews were safe until 1944 because Horthy did not want them to be deported (I think history is unfair to Horthy to a great deal – this does not mean that I support Horthy’s regime completely but one has to be fair). Actually Horthy wanted to get out of the Axis and proposed secret negotiations with the Allies, ordered cease fire with the Soviets and wanted to lay down arms. Hitler got wind of this and ordered Horthy to Berlin in 1944. While away there was a coup d’etat by the Hungarian Arrow Cross Party led by Ferenc Szálasi. The party was openly Nazi akin to the German National Socialist party. They started to deport Jews. Many Hungarians were against this and the party itself but the Arrow Cross party was firmly was in power by brutal force supported by the German army (Operation Panzerfaust) stationed in Hungary.
Read more about the party:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arrow_Cross_Party
Excerpt from the wikipedia article:
On October 1944, Horthy negotiated a cease-fire with the Soviets and ordered Hungarian troops to lay down their arms. In response, Nazi Germany launched Operation Panzerfaust, a covert operation which forced Horthy to abdicate in favour of Szálasi, after which he was taken into “protective custody” in Germany. This merely rubber-stamped an Arrow Cross takeover of Budapest on the same day. Szálasi was declared “Leader of the Nation” and prime minister of a “Government of National Unity”.
Eli Wiesel of blessed memory hails from same town as my father, a survivor whom I lost in 1997 – even though I was born in Cluj – now Romania, he made sure that his Jewish grandchildren born in the US would not speak one word of Hungarian or Romanian ! Once we left in 1962 with 20 lbs each=60 lbs. and had to leave everything behind: house, pets, furniture, friends- he made sure not to import that horrible barbaric culture with us!
Shame on any Jew who visits Hungary and sits by the Danube enjoying their drinks and food – in the bottom are thousands and thousands of murdered children and Jews! Orban and his party are the true Hungarian fascists
One more thing: If you look at one of the pictures in the article, you can see the unveiling of a plaque for Esterházy János. This picture, I assume, shows the Hungarians giving tribute to anti-semitic and fascist Hungarians in history. Who was Esterházy János? Please read again the wikipedia link on him:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J%C3%A1nos_Esterh%C3%A1zy
Excerpt from the article:
‘The Federation of Hungarian Jewish Communities named him as hero for saving Jews during World War II,[2] on the other hand, the Federation of the Jewish Communities in Slovakia published official attitude about János Esterházy and rejected efforts to present him as “democratic, antifascist fighter and fearless savior of Jews”’.[3]
As one can see there is controversy. I assume that is based on nationalistic differences between the Slovaks and Hungarians in the region rather than Jews and non-Jews. In any case, the Slovak Jews did not say he was a fascist Jew-hater, they only ‘rejected efforts to present him as “democratic, antifascist fighter and fearless savior of Jews”’. In any case, one needs to study ‘all sides of the coin’ before making a judgement rather than have only a few biased view points and make a conclusion based on limited and half-true information.
Joe, I am afraid that you are simply a manipulator. Yeah, that link you provided……did you in fact read it? Or did you simply read and “quote” the initial paragraph? You fail to mention that he was an active participant in the deportation of Jews, he was an active participant in creating the laws in which made the holocaust possible and you claim that this god damned war criminal was some sort of hero because SOME Jews would rather not rock the boat and be agreeable to try and move forward. It is sickening rather. Just because he and Horthy and many others started to backtrack late in the war because they knew they were losing and would likely experience great personal suffering and punishment did they switch sides. It had nothing to do with them being these saviors that some would like to paint them as. How is this quote for you from the wiki article you posted?
“This positive gesture came relatively late. Only cca 15.000[58] out of 57,628 Jews deported in 1942 were deported after adoption of the law. Esterházy did not wish to declare his opinion publicly, but he did it in private conversation with Martin Sokol before voting. Later, he explained his reasons also in the letter for Hungarian government. He declared that the law is bad and not human, but he also confirmed his antisemitic orientation “from early childhood” and expressed his will to remain antisemitic. He reasoned his motivation also by the fact that he as a minority politician cannot vote for a law which grants majority right to deport minority.[39]
The case of deportation was one of his last active steps in the Assembly. From the second half of 1942, he moved to more passive and alibistic position. This was the same or similar process which could be observed also for many members of ruling party.[59]
The only reason there is controversy is that there are people like you who would love to excuse all of the wrongs of those Hungarians based on the very little “remorse” they had once they knew they might be hung. This is why there is so much antisemitism today, because of people like you who once again would love to whitewash history.
Liz Aucoin: I said Eszterhazy is a controversial figure. The Hungarian Jews acknowledged him, the Slovak Jews did not. I also said this may be due to nationalistic differences rather than from a Jew/non-Jew point of view. You do not know history, period. Many, even decent Hungarians were reluctantly somewhat open to Hitler’ promises – at least at the beginning (even the majority was against the Nazis like my relatives) Hitler promised some of the lands which were predominantly Hungarian and taken away from Hungary in the 1920 edict by some of the current leading countries of the EU. This was a huge wound not healed, I’d say even to the present day. The French-British-American trio arbitrarily re-drew Hungary’s borders and by the stroke of the pen they sent millions of Hungarians to other, not-so-friendly successor states like Romania, Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia. 2/3 of Hungary was taken away. So, this is a complex situation for which the details need to be understood. The same thing happened when these same countries, again with the stroke of the pen re-drew the borders in the Mideast, Central Asia and Africa after WW2. This is one of the main reasons why we have these huge problems and why the world is in flames today in the Middle East and many other areas. For example Syria should not be a country. OK, I say these seemingly unrelated things to show how naive or arrogant or uninformed (or all three) you are. I am not an antisemite, in fact I am friend of Israel and the Jews, the real Jews who still adhere to their religion and not rabidly secular. I disagree with Jews who are faithless, have no religion and no moral compass, they simply forgot who their ancestors were and are only Jews to the extent that their mother was a Jew – aka cultural Jews which in my book are not real Jews the way I see them. When these cultural Jews are accused of these things they say the person is an antisemite. They use the Holocaust for political purpose. I have relatives who perished in the Holocaust so I am not a hostile bystander here against the Jews. I know this is totally against your leftist talking points but that’s the way I see it.
You revisionists are all the same, you will accept any form of whitewashing for the promise of getting back what once was. The tragedy you speak of (Trianon) had an effect on most of us Hungarians. My grandmother from what is now Romania and my grandfather from what is now Slovakia. What you fail to mention considering you are supposedly more informed than I am, is the fact that these lands were NEVER Hungarian to begin with. They were Hungarianized under the monarchy so the argument will continue until Hungarians realize that repeating mistakes of the past does not change the outcome. Now back to the discussion at hand (nice try at diverting). First of all I never called you an antisemite, that must be something you expect based on your own conscience. Secondly, there is only controversy regarding Esterhazy because some people want to paint him in a different light, for the resurrection of Nazi ideology or other political reasons. There is clear proof even in his own writings that he was in fact an anti semite, he just admits in his letters that what was happening was cruel and inhumane, however, he was so much a disgusting individual that he was only willing to help the Jews as to protect his reputation as a minority politician and wouldn’t support a majority governments desire to deport a minority group. Lastly, you really should do your homework before you tell someone they don’t know what they are talking about because all the crap you stated regarding the Middle East is just that. The road to hell it seems is in fact paved with good intentions. The state of Israel does not represent Jews. According to many Orthodox Jews, it uses Jews in to oppress Arabs and Muslims, the support given to Israel by western civilization is what is causing not just chaos in the Middle East but is what is also responsible for bringing their war to the west. Israel was supposed to offer sovereignty to the Jews in Israel, which it has done, but don’t think for a second that most or all Jews support everything the government of Israel does. You may claim what you like regarding who you think is more Jewish based on how secular they are, but have you discussed this with Orthodox Jews you know? I sure have, and to be quite honest, many do not support the state of Israel in its current form. Many feel that the instability in the Middle east is a direct fault of not the Jews but the government of Israel. Many do not support the occupation of Palestine, many do not support the IDF and many think that it is high time that something be done to stop the expansionism and oppression of the Palestinian people. The Jews are waking up to the fact they have been used once again by a government, one that no longer seeks to keep Jews safe in the middle east or elsewhere. I was very surprised to hear this from my Jewish friends, they are Jews who want peace in Israel once and for all and know exactly what needs to be done to achieve it, but I don’t think it will be something easily achieved since the powers to be want something totally different (more power, not peace).
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2577015/Patriotism-persecution-Thousands-Orthodox-Jews-swarm-NYC-streets-protest-Israeli-armys-proposal-draft-young-men.html
@liz a
I have to correct you here:
The Israel policies are often distasteful, unjustified and overkill, but the IDF is the only thing keeping the Ultra/Orthodox Jews (and all others) alive there. While all were subject to military draft, women included, the UOJ won an exemption in the 1950s when they numbered a couple of hundred.
By now (2007) 11% of men and 32% of women claim exemptions on religious grounds, which amounts to tens of thousands.
You are dishonest in claiming or insinuating that the UOJ are more dovish – they are fundamentalists, the ultimate racists and absolutely intolerant (e.g. rabbi Meir Kahane). Ditto for you note that they do not recognize the State of Israel because of it’s policies – they don’t recognize it on religious dogma grounds.
While your link concerns mainly military draft issue, little you say about the UOJ being an extreme religious group, with all the negative consequences. Their meager wellbeing in the US and to certain extent in Israel is supported by the huge donations. In addition to being freeloaders, the UOJ embody everything negative associated with religion, but conquest and war (for they are less strong than in the Old Testament times).
I have absolutely no sympathy for them.
What you have done here Observer is not “correct” me, you have simply stated a different opinion and to state that I am being dishonest? Get a grip. I have spoken to Orthodox Jews in Canada, not Israel, BTW, and the link I provided was not depicting Jews in Israel, rather NYC. The mere suggestion that they are only a bunch of racist extremist Jews is highly unfair considering many orthodox Jews feel the same way and my Jewish friends are not racist. No one is suggesting that there is no need for IDF, but there is something that can be done, just the Israeli government doesn’t want that, because it could be a solution. So are you suggesting that the following article is being dishonest?
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/israel/9703026/The-Israel-Palestine-problem-has-a-simple-solution.html
@liz a
I state facts:
– The religious parties in Israel have always been “hawks” (whatever your UOJ friends may be)
– The UOJ don’t recognize the State of I. on religious dogma grounds.
– The exemption from military service has always been a morally controversial issue, but is slowly becoming a defense one.
You know/should know the above basics, so claiming/insinuating otherwise is dishonest.
The UOJews in NYC may be slightly different, but by definition/religion and their secluded way of life the majority are racists and extremist – e.g. they may not claim historical/biblical rights to the land of King David, but adhere to the religious postulate of being God’s chosen race. And then their relation to the goim, to the ones leaving the faith, the arranged marriages, the status and treatment of women, the absolute authority of the rabbis, etc. etc..
Palestinian question, the policies of Israel are OT here.
Dear Joe Wade,
UZZNO – the Slovak Jewish Community published a book indicating that János Esterházy’s story was falsified by the Hungarian Foreign Ministry. László Karsai indicated that Esterházy’s alleged “Jew saving” was a hoax, and Attila Simon (Selye College, Slovakia) claims that Esterházy was responsible for the Holocaust in Slovakia. It seems that the Hungarian version of the János Esterházy story is a fraud which was cooked up by Hungarian politician Mr. Zsolt Németh.
Hungary is engaged in wholesale whitewashing of fascists and falsification of WWII history.
Didnt Horthy refuse to deliver the jews to Hitler? Thats why Hitler got rid of Horthy and put Szalasi on power no? After all it wasnt Horthy who massacred the jews, but Szalasi and his Arrow cross movement.
And accusation on Eszterhazy is treason since Eszterhazy is from a noble family, you know cant speak and slander against the noble family if Hungary is a monarchy right now, right? You’ll risk being executed for treason for slandering a noble family, because you dudes are just a low class paraszt who have no respect for noble families.
You are greatly mistaken Musztafa, Horthy delivered the Jews with the most enthusiasm from the countryside and ONLY changed his mind when he realized Budapest was the final stop in the “final solution”, and the Nazis had already lost the war. He had been threatened to be hung following the war if he did not stop. BTW, wake up, there is no “nobility” anymore and Esterhazy was a war criminal.
Hallas, Mustáta. Burra, because you don’t know what are you talking about.
Since we are from the nobility I command you, the “low class paraszt” to go away.
“Elie Wiesel warned the world about Orbán Viktor’s dangerous ……………….. hopelessly isolated and continuing to lead the country into a dead-end.”
Might be so, who knows the future. For me it seems that for Orban and his government the whole world, including the Jews, Israel, Turkey, Erdogan, Putin, Merkel, whoever and everybody is just one card in the deck. I see no true respect or feeling for anything or anyone. It’s all tactic. That’s what he think politics is all about. He hopes he would be able to win the game. I don’t know if such a good player ever existed. He will need then all his cards to be a Joker, if he wants to win. How many does he have?
Orban is winning his little game – from end-of-the-row mud house, a half gypsy boy becomes one of the richest persons in the country and rules over the “true” Hungarians. What a grotesque and cruel joke over them.
“You are greatly mistaken Musztafa, Horthy delivered the Jews with the most enthusiasm from the countryside and ONLY changed his mind when he realized Budapest was the final stop in the “final solution”, and the Nazis had already lost the war. He had been threatened to be hung following the war if he did not stop. BTW, wake up, there is no “nobility” anymore and Esterhazy was a war criminal.”
I think Rakosi and Kun Bela is more of war criminal themselves instead of Horthy. Dont forget Horthy is of partly Armenian origin, you what happens when you criticize Armenian people yeah? Careful, Armenians are very wild people, they loaded with cash and political connections, try to keep quite as my compliment for you. 🙂
“Hallas, Mustáta. Burra, because you don’t know what are you talking about.
Since we are from the nobility I command you, the “low class paraszt” to go away.”
Hello upper class, what’s the family name of your nobility Mr upper class? Since when upper class nobility backing this “bunda low class MSZP tolvaj parasztok partja?”
😀
Liz Aucoin,
“What you fail to mention considering you are supposedly more informed than I am, is the fact that these lands were NEVER Hungarian to begin with. They were Hungarianized under the monarchy so the argument will continue until Hungarians realize that repeating mistakes of the past does not change the outcome.”
Your wrong on that point. All these lands were indeed Hungarian, if you want to see a bigger perception here. These lands were already settled by Atilla’s Hun Turkic people, before the Slavs arrived. These people spoke the original Hungarian language which is not like the modern Hungarian language we speak today, that language was the same language as the Khazar people spoke…Turkic. Khazars and Magyars both of them came from Atilla’s Hun people. The Khazars originally were Turkic shamanist people who most of them (except Kabars) adopted Jewish religious identity, while Magyars were Turkic shamanist who adopted Muslim religious identity. Because there was a civil war inside the Turkic Jewish state called Khazaria between 4 main religions, Pagans, Muslims, Jews and Christians, Arpad brought the 7 Magyar tribes who were mostly Muslim Turkic people to that land what is “Nagy Magyarorszag” including half of Croatia up to Zagreb except for Adriatic coast. At that time, there wasnt any Serbia, Romania, Slovakia or Ukraine to name a few. The Huns, Magyars, Avars, Khazars (the ancestor of modern european jews) were already settled in that land before Serbs, Romanians, Germans, other nationalities came into the country. For example, Kozarmisleny? KOZAR-misleny is named after who? The Khazars who settled there and built that settlement. But thats just an example. When you rejecting those lands and say that its not ours, remember that you are rejecting your own backyard when its yours. Would you reject your own backyard when its yours no you wouldnt, why would you when its yours? Its doesnt makes sense does it?
Musztafa, you are simply trying to expand my words to suit your point of view. Like I said, ALL Hungarians were affected by Trianon, however, unlike you I will not deny the Hungarianization of Slavs, Croats, Serbs, and Romanians that were ethnic minorities in the Kingdom. I do not deny that we are a collective victim of our governments over and over again. In my opinion, we need to accept the truth and help to mend wounds instead of continuously creating rift for this dream of having what once was. I have said it a million times, we cannot continue fighting with our neighbors and losing because of this reckless nationalism that does nothing but continue to marginalize Hungarians.
Liz Aucoin,
“ALL Hungarians were affected by Trianon”
Not only just Hungarians, even Hungary’s minorities like Romanians, Germans, Croatians, Serbs, Rusyns who were loyal to Hungary were affected as well, but those were small percentage, majority of those minorities were successionist.
“however, unlike you I will not deny the Hungarianization of Slavs, Croats, Serbs, and Romanians that were ethnic minorities in the Kingdom.”
Where did i mention Hungarianization or deny Hungarianization?
First of all, like i said to keep it short, Hungarians were already settled in most of the territories of Great Hungary during the times of Attila’s Hun and Arpad’s Magyar periods. There wasnt any Romanians, Slovaks, Serbs, etc living in Hungary at that time expecially during Atilla’s time. Rather these minorities came later even after when Hungary was Christianized.
Secondly, Hungarianization? Sure there was Hungarization, its called….cultural assimilation. Nothing wrong with assimilating and integrating minorities with the traditional Hungarian population. To live in Hungary you have to assimilate. Which ever countries you live, you have to adapt into that country’s environment and culture. Otherwise what’s the point of wasting your time moving to another country if you dont want to assimilate and adapt into another country’s environment and interacting with people that is living there? Hungary’s minorities wanted to moved into the Hungarian territories therefore they needed to be assimilated or Hungarianized as you call it, if they didnt like it of being Hungarian then they shouldnt go into Hungary and settle there in the first place.
You see apart from my Magyar origin, i have mostly Greek origin from the Greek part of Macedonia which traces back to Greek civil war when Greek refugees migrated to Hungary during the 50s. I also have Arab, Serb, Kun origins as well, how come i dont have any problem of being assimilated into Hungarian and calling myself Hungarian even when my Greek genetic is superior to that of my Magyar origin or because my religion is not Christianity?
Im a Hungarian citizen, i love staying in Hungary therefore im a Hungarian, fullstop. How cares what my minority origin was, im not interested, im Hungarian thats it.
“In my opinion, we need to accept the truth and help to mend wounds instead of continuously creating rift for this dream of having what once was. I have said it a million times, we cannot continue fighting with our neighbors and losing because of this reckless nationalism that does nothing but continue to marginalize Hungarians.”
If thats your opinion, then you would probably also have to accept the fact that the whole Palestine (not Israel) PALESTINE should be given back to the Palestinians and give up this revisionist idea called Israel and Jewish state even when Jewish people was living there before the Romans evicted the Jews from there. And all those Jews that is currently living in Israel have to leave and go back to Russia, Germany and other places where they came from, if thats what you speak of Great Hungary and Hungarians is a correct thinking?
“im Hungarian thats it.”
That’s what YOU think, just like what the assimilated Jews thought.
You may ask the Fidesz/Jobbik “true” Hungarians, but it may be a very unpleasant experience.
Mustafa,
July 21, 2016 at 6:55 pm and at 9:52 pm
very impressive, so you took the pain to find out who we are and what the hell is happening to us. Pretty nice. Are you awakening??? Yes, pretty much you do!!!! But don’t tell anybody, let the sleepers be happy and conceited the way they are.
“The Khazars originally were Turkic shamanist people who most of them (except Kabars) adopted Jewish religious identity,”
I wish I knew when. What I found says that it was around 600 AD, (yet I’m not so sure) and later the Khazarian king melted black-magic practices with Judaism and created a secret Satanic-hybrid religion that was known as Babylonian Talmudism.
Anyway, you can talk to them, believe me most people cannot make difference between the Jews, Israel, Judaism, and Zionism. Hopeless. They misinterpret the Muslim religion…all.
It isn’t worth the trouble.
Observer,
“That’s what YOU think, just like what the assimilated Jews thought.
You may ask the Fidesz/Jobbik “true” Hungarians, but it may be a very unpleasant experience.”
There is hardly any “true” Hungarians in Hungary, real Magyars who have Magyar Turkic origin constitute no more than 20% of current Hungary’s population, the rest of today’s Hungarians/Magyars are either assimilated Hungarians from other ethnic groups or Hungarians/Magyars with partial Magyar origin with heavy foreign elements.
Fidesz/Jobbik arent real Magyars either, they dont look asians or eurasians by their facial appearance.
Richard,
“I wish I knew when. What I found says that it was around 600 AD, (yet I’m not so sure) and later the Khazarian king melted black-magic practices with Judaism and created a secret Satanic-hybrid religion that was known as Babylonian Talmudism.”
I dont know anything about Khazarian king practicing black-magic or that he made a Satanic-hydrid religion to be honest. But i doubt that Ashkenazi/european jews are of semitic origins. People of real semitic race looks typically very middle eastern or Arabs, european jews dont look neither of them.
“Anyway, you can talk to them, believe me most people cannot make difference between the Jews, Israel, Judaism, and Zionism. Hopeless. They misinterpret the Muslim religion…all.”
Majority of Jews dont even know their own religion, same goes with today’s muslims.
The name “ISRAEL” or “ISRAELI” for example is not even Jewish by fact. Israel is named after Prophet Israel (peace be upon him) who wasnt jewish at all, he was a muslim. Same goes with Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him), he wasn’t jewish either, he was a muslim. The name “JEW” was named after Judah, Jews originated directly from Judah.
True, many people cant make the difference between Jew, Israel, Judaism and Zionism because they are ignorants. I can tell the differences very easily. I know which one of the holy books in Judaism is the “JEWISH ONE” and which one isnt. Torah, that’s the original one, not the Kabbalistic Talmud, and Kabbalah is not part of the real Judaism at all.
Anyway as for the Magyar history, im not going into more details here, but i see you do got a fair deal of knowledge, something that is lacking from this so-called Free press “to talk crap about Hungary and Orban only” website.
If you read alot resources during your spare time, perhap you can read this PDF, since its very interesting.
http://mek.oszk.hu/13300/13345/13345.pdf
Mustafa,
interesting indeed, thanks. Was worth talking with you.
It’s unfortunate for Orban’s enemies that they have no better “authority” to cite than the notorious, proven liar, the Weasel, whom Norm Finkelstein has memorably nicknamed the Clown of the Holocaust™. Doesn’t everybody know by now that the Weasel, Elie “I-Saw-Blood-Spurting-from-The-Ground” Wiesel, the “survivor” without a number on his arm who avoided short-sleeve shirts the rest of his life after he hit dirt pay lied and lied through his teeth?!?!? Com’on, you all do.
Elie Wiesel was the biggest fraud ever foisted upon the Western World. This creep stole another man’s memoirs, added much horror and what can only be described as blood fantasy and got rich selling his over the top fiction to a brainwashed public. He won the Nobel prize for this very silly reworking of another man’s thoughts which doesn’t say much for the Nobel committee. Wiesel wrote fairy tales from hell or should I say he added absurd terror to a memoir which wasn’t his. But, with his passing there certainly is a silver lining in a dark cloud. We don’t have to listen to his bullshit any longer.
