– Vinum Tokaj Canada Inc. has never purchased, distributed or sold any of the wines produced by the state-owned Tokaj Kereskedőház Zrt.
– the wineries and wines that we represent and offer to our customers are of outstanding quality, undergo constant quality checks, national and international wine tests, competitions.
– the wineries we work with are all private-owned enterprises, nationally and internationally recognized ones.
As companies and individuals devoted to Tokaj wines, we firmly believe, that these wines represent such a quality, uniqueness and standards that – by delivering a special experience of consumption – needs to be presented to the national and international wine consumer society too.
Our goal is to send a message of the Tokaj wines throughout the world, with the help of wine promotional programs, get consumers acquainted with the wines and create a market for their international sales.
We have been working with conviction, endurance and determination to help the process of resettling the Tokaj wines – emphasizing their incomparable character – on the white wines’ world map among the ones representing the highest quality and reliability. For this process, we have as partners the representatives of the Hungarian Government, as a joint effort is needed to create new markets for these Hungarian products.
We can assure you that the Tokaj wines imported by us – both sweet and dry ones – are of unquestionable quality.

Thanks for the clarification. It was reassuring to learn from Mr. Sándor Balla and Mr. Attila Balla that Vinum Tokaj Canada Inc. has never purchased, distributed or sold any of the wines produced by the state-owned Tokaj Kereskedőház Zrt.
At the same time, according to public records Vinum Tokaj International, LLC has filed a lawsuit in California against state-owned Tokaj Kereskedohaz Zrt on Sept 18, 2014. Vinum Tokaj International, LLC (does business as Drink Tokaji Internatonal) is controlled by Mr. Attila Balla and Mr. Zsigmond Balla.
